USSSA is announcing, effective immediately, that ages 15U through 18U will adopt a 43 feet pitching distance for all USSSA games. We have asked State Directors look at making this change this fall but there will be some situations that might force directors to run 40 feet this fall. It will be mandatory that all USSSA events be 43 feet by January 1st, 2010 for ages 15U thru 18U. Read more…

As a reminder to those teams that are signed up for a USSSA National Qualifier event in Minnesota for 2009, you are required to be sanctioned USSSA prior to the national qualifying event, even if you do not end up qualifying for the national event.
There are two different ways to sanction your team:
- sanction online at usssa.com for $25, OR
- complete this form and attach a check for $15
Note that this sanctioning covers you through the summer season.
To better define options available to teams, we have generated a flyer to help you compare/contrast your fall ball options. We’ve also added most of this comparison to the fall comparison page.
